What is 'The Huddle Center'?

The Huddle Center, a Family Support Center, is an initiative of the OneCranston Health Equity Zone of CCAP to provide services that help Cranston families navigate needs, access parenting tips and tricks, and connect with each other. Join us for drop-in hours 6 days per week; there is something for everyone!

We offer Cranston families:

Connection to local resources and guidance on navigating family life

Evidence-based Family Check Up and Everyday Parenting sessions

Parenting workshops and opportunities for connection

Family events for all ages

On-site connection to services from local organizations

& MORE!

Our Services

We work to offer drop-in services to increase community-based networks of support for residents and families.

A 3 session strengths-based program that promotes child well-being by improving parenting and family management practices.

Family Check Ups

Open to Cranston families with children ages 2 - 17

A series diving into evidence-based parenting tips and tricks for Cranston families. 

Everyday Parenting or EDP can help with:

better listening

stronger relationships

healthy limits

And MORE!

  • Drop-in hours for questions, connection to local resources, support 

  • Drop-in family friendly activities/events 

  • Drop-in services from local agencies 

  • Recurring education & support groups

  • Family Check Up & Everyday Parenting 

  • Teen groups for scheduled activities

Main Space

When you first walk in, you will be welcomed into this cozy area, with an array of seating arrangements that serve as a waiting room and central space while activities in other rooms are being hosted. In this space, families, and individuals can converse with one another, engage with staff, and take the next steps toward registering with our center and receiving services.
